What to Make of Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

His background matters. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly coming. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The speed is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
